The First Alligator Tour: More Than Just a Success!
The first stop of the Alligator Tour at 4601 Almayo Ave was more than just an event—it was a call to action. We witnessed firsthand how San Diego’s build-up, not-out policies are impacting real lives, and the stories shared were nothing short of powerful.
One attendee, a former merchant marine, was so moved by what he saw that he made a life-changing decision: to run for City Council. Another couple, who once felt isolated in their fight against a looming ADU project, found solidarity and support from neighbors who understand their struggle. And one homeowner, overwhelmed by the outpouring of compassion, realized he wasn’t alone in his fight to protect his home.
The event sparked meaningful connections and reignited the drive to reclaim our neighborhoods from overbuilt, reckless development. It was a powerful reminder that we are stronger together.
