Aligators are overbuilt ADU projects, mostly constructed by institutional LLCs, that use San Diego’s “Complete Communities” Bonus Density ADU rules, which I believe, overbuild our communities with their shear size. Once built, state law AB 976 doesn’t require those that build them to live in the units they build in our neighborhoods.
